TERMS, POLICIES & RATES

The following terms, policies and rates are defined as follows:

1. Membership: An elected annual paid subscription suitable for qualified songwriters, bands and instrumentalists. The Professional Membership is only available to eligible applicants whereas the Musicians Network Membership is available to all applicants. Membership is only active after the applicant has paid the annual dues and the payment has been deposited in the Circle of Songs bank. Circle of Songs reserves the right to refuse service to applicants and members.
2. Member Services: Non-fee and fee-based proprietary career services administered to active Members. Select Member Services are included with the annual membership dues. Additional Member Services are optional but may require further eligibility and fees. All Member Services are subject to change and Members will be notified of these changes through the website and in the monthly newsletter. Members who purchase Circle of Songs services and wish to cancel those services will not receive any refund for the unused portions of the services. The Musicians Resource Center consisting of the Musicians Assistance Program (MAP), the Musicians Resource Guide and Ask The Experts provide referrals to third-party businesses. All the referrals made by Circle of Songs, LLC are done in good faith to assist its Members in obtaining quality services. However, Circle of Songs in no way guarantees the services provided by those to whom Members are referred. Any complaints regarding such services are the sole responsibility of the vendor and not Circle of Songs, LLC.
3. Membership Dues: Circle of Songs charges $85 for a 12 month Professional Membership and $45 for a 12 month Musicians Network Membership. Circle of Songs offers two payment methods 1) PayPal and 2) credit card. Membership dues payments can be made online at www.circleofsongs.com or over the phone by calling the Circle of Songs headquarters at (310) 458-7664. Membership dues are subject to change. Renewing members will always pay the most current price of membership.
4. Auto Renew: Circle of Songs offers Members an automatic renewal option for renewing their annual membership. Members who select this option give Circle of Songs full permission to either charge their credit card or PayPal account once a year (on or before their renewal date) for the current price of membership. It is the Members sole responsibility to select and or deselect the automatic renewal feature.
5. Renewal: Membership must be renewed on or before the original membership date. Renewal notices are sent a minimum of two months prior to the renewal date. Membership rates are subject to increase but notification of these increases will be sent a minimum of two months prior to renewal dates. Renewals must be paid on or before the renewal date, otherwise the member is subject to late fees and or cancellation. If you need extra time renewing your membership, please email the Membership Department (membership@circleofsongs.com) for a renewal extension.
6. Cancellation: Members are welcome to cancel their membership at anytime, however, in doing so Circle of Songs will not, under any circumstance, refund any portion of the annual membership dues or paid services. Circle of Songs reserves the right to cancel a memberís membership for cause and in the event of a cancellation, will not, under any circumstance, refund any portion of the annual membership dues or paid services.
7. Liability: Circle of Songs, LLC and its employees are not liable for information posted on its website, or through any promoted articles, or through any program or service described or not described in its Membership Application Form or Member Services. In no event will Circle of Songs or its employees, agents, suppliers, members or contractors be liable for any damages of any kind or character, including without limitation any compensatory, incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of use, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of or damage to property, claims of third parties or other losses of any kind or character.
8. Feedback: Circle of Songs, LLC appreciates any feedback from its members regarding the quality of services provided by our company and outside vendors.
9. Performances: Membership does not guarantee a performance. Only Professional Members are eligible to be considered for a performance and must first complete and submit a performance form.
10. Retail, licensing & promotion: Membership does not guarantee the sale, promotion and or licensing of Members' music. Only Professional Members are eligible to be considered for retail, licensing and promotional opportunities and must first complete and submit the Shop For Songs Broker Agreement and Song Forms.
